We do all the courses that PADI offer.
You will have to log on to your padi app that will have all the material for your course. There will be videos to watch and a manual to read as well as knowledge reviews and quizzes to complete. The way it works is you read chapter 1 then watch section 1 of the videos and do the quiz and knowledge review for that chapter, then you do the Confined Water ( Pool ) with us.
The price for the pool sessions and use of kit plus certification is £225 this includes use of our kit for the in-water sessions you do with us (Except Dry-suit) which has a £60 orientation in the pool then £25 hire for each time you go into the Open Water. We have a flexible approach to our pool sessions and don't charge extra for it. We have trained divers from the age of 8 to 80 over the years. You will find a relaxed and welcome approach to teaching you to dive and hope to see you soon.
Our pool sessions are on a Tuesday evening and we would expect you to arrive between 5.30 and 6pm. You will be finished the in-water session by 9.00pm.
Open Water dives are carried out on Sat/Sun throughout the diving season. Entry into the Dive site is payable locally or on line to the dive site owners, this normally includes a 2 year membership for you to revisit the site after qualification. pool sessions can be booked in advance or weekly whichever works best for you.
We have many dedicated staff to help you along on your journey to qualification and will take you further in your courses if that is your wish.
We have local diving on the abundant shipwrecks throughout the dive season and trips to St Abbs in the nature reserve as well as diving from the Tyne and Eyemouth.
We are Sunderland's only Dive Centre and are a 5 Star PADI Dive Centre and opened in 2004 and if there is any more info you need to know either email us back or you can ring us on 0191 5670147, ask for Steve or Dave and we will endeavour to answer your questions.
Best Regards
Steve (Owner)
